Miss Risqué is a story of secrets and showgirls. It’s a code written on the back of a calling card, delivered with a bouquet of flowers, overheard in the powder rooms of the Folies-Bergeres. It’s a dangerous liaison lurking under the skirts of turn-of-the-century Paris.
The second collaboration between Clod Ensemble and Split Britches, Miss Risqué is often performed with It’s a Small House and We Lived in it Always in a double bill called Double Agency.

“Each piece maintains an admirable balance between cleverly conceived, spirited entertainment and intelligent insight … thoughtfully choreographed work that is splendidly enhanced by the bluesy music of Mr. Clark.”
